My tutoring philosophy focuses on identifying your strongest areas in a subject and building upon your strengths until you are confident in your ability to achieve your goals. During our initial meeting, we will discuss and create an action plan to ensure your academic goals are achieved. Tutoring sessions can focus on preparing for a test, tutoring throughout a course, or tutoring sessions that focus on developing strategies for a research paper, Capstone paper, and Senior/Graduate Thesis. Teaching became a passion for me while completing my PhD. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in undergraduate clinical nursing classes and have taught research classes at the Graduate level. As a Nurse Educator, I have received multiple teaching awards including Teacher of the Year. I look forward to working with you to develop a plan to achieve academic success!
